Soybean farmers get long awaited help due to the National Policy

Since 2009 the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) have been participating in dialogs with the US Department of Commerce and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on policies that will open the way forward to "full-scale aquaculture in US federal waters". Doug Winters ISA director and soybean farmer from Mill Shoals, Illinois said " this is big news for Illinois soybean farmers".

Winters went on to say "that the completion of this policy removes a self imposed impediment that had blocked marine aquaculture for the past two years in the United States. Read more ...
