Russia sign deal with Scottish salmon producers

The Scottish salmon company has broken into the Russian market for the first time. Scottish salmon said that a deal has been signed that will see them supplying salmon to Russia. This deal has been reached after many months of hard negotiations. They already supply Japan, US, Middle East and France.

According to the Scottish salmon company the first shipment of salmon goes to Russia this week. Stewart McLelland, chief operating officer of the Scottish Salmon Company, said: "This is a very exciting deal for us as a company, expanding our export market into this previously untapped region.
