Export success for Scottish salmon

Scottish salmon is a major success in the export market, “Farmed salmon from Argyll & Bute was one of the biggest food success stories in 2010”, according to the new boss of Scotland’s food and drink industry body. James Withers, Chief Executive of Scotland Food and Drink, said: “Salmon from Lochs Creran, Linnhe, Spelve, Tuath and Melfort, to name but a few, is in high demand in current and emerging markets such as the France, USA, Ireland and China.” Read more ...
