Using chemical free water with fiber filters, ultrasound and UV

A new method of treating algal blooms is the chemical-free water treatment system consisting of fiber filter, ultrasound and UV for fish farming has been studied by LG Sound. The study of this treatment using two ponds one treated and one untreated, the treated one showed the number of determined algal species was lower in the treated pond. The proportion of green algae and Cyanobacteria was higher in the non-treated pond, and diatoms were the predominant group of algae in the treated pond. Read more ...
