Aller Aqua Seniorclub took another trip together, this time to Büsum to visit Florian Nagel and Aller Aqua Research.

The group of 29 retired Aller Aqua employees got on a bus at Aller in the morning of Tuesday 2nd June. From here they drove to Dannewerk where they saw the museum and had lunch. The trip continued to Gottorp Castle in Schleswig where the group had 3 hours to explore the museum before continuing to the hotel in Büsum.

Wednesday morning De Go’e Gamle started at Eidersperrwerk before arriving at the mariCUBE and Aller Aqua Research (AAR). This visit started with a reception, followed by a presentation by Florian Nagel, Research Manager of AAR, about the issues and future goals of AAR. Participants were excited and fascinated. The group had a tour of the facilities, and participants were impressed by the place and felt pride in being connected to Aller Aqua and the progress that has happened in the previous years.

After lunch the group went to Friedrichstadt and had a guided tour by boat in the historical town. During dinner, the 50th anniversary for the production of fish feed was marked by a look back over old times by Asbjørn and Holger.

Thursday morning the group set off for Föhr, where a dedicated tour guide took them around the island by bus, extending the programme by more than an hour. Thereafter the participants returned to the mainland and got in the bus which took them back to Aller.
