05/11/2015: Registration opens for ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference

2016 edition will be May 22-25 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA

Some attendees have deemed Alltech’s annual international conference an experience evocative of Disney’s EPCOT; others have called it the United Nations of agriculture. One perspective, however, is universal: It is heralded as the most unique and innovative event that conference attendees say they have experienced, and registration for the 2016 edition, ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference is now available HERE

A forum for world-changing ideas, global networking and inspiration, 97 percent of event attendees said they would attend again. The conference offers a topical blend of science, agriculture, entrepreneurship, business and marketing, along with a craft beer festival and a collection of chefs preparing international food delights to sample.

In its September 2015 issue, Kentucky Living magazine described the 2015 extravaganza: “Rupp Arena swirls with lights, pulses with loud, dramatic music.  Nearly 3000 people from 68 counties are there.  It’s called REBELation and synonyms for ‘rebel’ fall into place on the screens mounted behind the stage.  In the buzzy air of innovation, presenters talk about plants that change colour, keeping ‘smart’ beehives, using drones to monitor crop growth and half a dozen other seemingly science fiction futures.”

What began in 1983 as a gathering of Alltech founder and president Dr Pearse Lyons and a few family members and friends is recognised today as a premier business event. It attracts a diverse crowd of dignitaries, business leaders, researchers, professors, marketing professionals, brewers, farmers and producers.

This year’s event will be even bigger, with nearly 5000 people expected to come to Lexington, Kentucky, USA, for ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference, from May 22-25, 2016.

Featured speakers at the 2015 conference included General Colin Powell; former Procter & Gamble global marketing officer Jim Stengel; futurethink CEO Lisa Bodell and University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari. Other presenters were experts from Google, McDonald’s, Whole Foods, JBS, The HANOR Company, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Maker’s Mark and more. An entire list of presentations and virtual pass access to recordings of the presentations may be found HERE, along with a highlights reel from the 2015 event.

Registration for ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference, is open now and available at the lowest possible rate, representing a US$500 saving, until midnight November 30. For more information or to register, click HERE.
