Together with their local partner, Nutriad highlighted its feed additive solutions for livestock and aquaculture.

BK Chew, Regional Director APAC, expressed his confidence in the future outlook of the Myanmar livestock industry and the growth opportunities it provides:

“Nutriad has been actively engaging with Myanmar producers for more than 15 years. We were the first company to introduce the concept of mycotoxin risk management, when we launched Toxy-Nil.
With the accelerating development of feed and animal production towards more technical and well organized feed mill and farm management, we are well positioned to take further leadership in this market.”

Erik Visser, Nutriad CEO, added: “We increasingly see local and foreign investors wanting to be a part of the Myanmar livestock sector. The situation is reminiscent of Vietnam in the late 90’s that also saw economic growth at a time when the population was relatively large and young, with limited Gdp and low meat consumption. It will not happen overnight, but the potential most certainly is there.”

“Our customers appreciate the quality of our products and value the technical support on feed additive applications as well as production management. Combining our in depth technical knowledge with the local network of our distributor, Multi Aquaculture and Livestock Trading, we are able to provide added value services to the local producers”, Mr BK Chew concluded.

Nutriad delivers products and services to over 80 countries through a network of own sales offices and distributors. Supported by 4 application laboratories and 5 manufacturing facilities on 3 continents.
